Refreshing and invigorating lemon and peppermint lozenges are a natural alternative to ordinary lozenges. The fresh citrus flavour comes from the fine Femminello and Monachello lemon varieties grown in Sicily. The touch of mint flavour is extracted from English peppermint grown on a small farm in Hampshire. The lozenges are sweetened with 100 percent xylitol sourced from European suppliers with very strict manufacturing standards. Some studies have shown that xylitol may reduce plaque and strengthen teeth, and the product is approved by the British Dental Health Foundation.
